The doors to La rentrée... une réussite! will only be open to the public once a year, to be sure that we grow and learn together, and I can best support you during the start of your teaching year. That time is between now and midnight on August 22nd, so make sure you join us ASAP, before they close until next time!

A place for maternelle and première année teachers from all over the country to get the resources, support, and community they need, and start the school year together!

One thing that has been bugging me about my blog and TPT for awhile is the lack of contact between us - you download a resource or try an idea, but there isn't really a way for us to sit down together and brainstorm how you can really make my ideas & resources work for you in your classroom, with your students.

MODULE 1

August 23-29

In Module 1, La première semaine, I’ll explain my first week routine, share my favourite first week crafts & activities, provide you with examples of all the communication I send home to parents, and give you tips on how to build classroom rules & expectations with your students. By the end of this module, you’ll have your first week all planned out!

MODULE 2

August 30-September 5

In Module 2, Communication orale… dès le début!, I’ll give you all my best tips for helping your students speak en français, every day, right from the beginning of the school year. 

 

MODULE 3

September 6-October 22

In Module 3, AB...Camp d’entrainement, I’ll explain exactly how I use a letter a day, ABC Bootcamp-style, to help my students learn our daily routine, how to listen and follow directions, how to use scissors and glue, and to pump them full of French vocabulary! Most of them also learn a whole bunch of letter names and sounds - bonus! :)

MODULE 4

October 23-30

In Module 4, Les prochaines étapes, I’ll get you all set up for continuing spiral alphabet review for all your students. I’ll share my favourite whole group, small group, and independent centre ideas, and explain my brand new resource that I’ll be using to assess their alphabet knowledge!
