The doors to the Enseignons les autres sons ensemble TeachAlong™ will only be open to the public for a very limited time, in order to be sure that we grow and learn together and so that I can best support you during your start with sons composés. A place for maternelle, première, and deuxième année teachers to get the resources, support, and community they need as they teach les sons composés in their classrooms!

Many teachers have told me that they struggle with finding quality texts their students can learn to decode but that aren't too difficult and don't contain too many letters that don't make their "regular" sound.

Teachers are also looking for effective, efficient ways to help their students learn and recognize important sons composés (meaning, sounds composed of 2+ letters) as they read.

This used to be a big problem for me, too. My students would learn how to decode but then get frustrated with words that didn't follow the "rules," or where not every letter made its sound.

But, I found a solution to that problem -- one that allows me to teach decoding and les sons composés to all my students (whole-group and small-group) in context and in a way that makes sense for them. And, once again, I'm sharing exactly how I use this concept to take my students from confused to comprehending.

You can come back and rewatch whenever you need! Then, each week, all you'll have to do is prep a few resources and add the digital books to your Google Drive, and you have a whole week to get it done.

As an experienced teacher BUT new to kindergarten, finding Mme Andrea this year was my “golden ticket.” Working [over] the past [weeks] with her new TeachAlong™ was a great addition to my classroom routines. I used almost all the courses/TeachAlongs™. I think the only one I haven't used is the blending sounds one. I love the videos she puts out. They really help to know how to teach the courses before you read the lesson plans. The lesson plans are easy to follow and make my job so much easier. [I use] the alphabet [TeachAlong™] at the beginning of the school year, and the writing [TeachAlong™] I use in the middle to the end of the year. My students JK/SK write now for 10 minutes every day. I don't do the live videos, but I always listen to the recorded ones. I like that I can do it on my own time. The resources are really good, as well. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are the answers to some of the questions I have most frequently been asked about enrolling in my programs and what's included:

What does it mean that the content is "drip-released"?

If you were a member in one of our older online courses a couple of years ago, then you might be familiar with all of the course content being available the day the course kicks off. However, we're running the TeachAlong™ differently! We truly want everyone to work through it alongside each other, at the same pace, so each week's content will be released on Sundays. See the weekly breakdown above for those dates.

That being said, there is also a video vault and a resource vault that will be available from the very beginning of the TeachAlong™ -- those videos and resources you can access at any time! This way, you have the flexibility of getting ahead on some prep (if you choose).

What if I already own a lot of your resources? Will it still be worth joining?

In a word, YES! My goal is to make sure that it will be worth it for anyone who wants to join. Many of the resources in this TeachAlong™ are brand new and currently unavailable anywhere else. The entire TeachAlong™ is priced around 40% less than the total value of the included resources (over 250$).

What if my teaching assignment changes after the TeachAlong™ starts?

Due to the digital nature of the program, we are unable to offer refunds once the course begins (January 7, 2024). That being said, I will make an exception for you if you can forward me proof of your grade reassignment from your principal!

What about math/writing/health/other subjects?

This TeachAlong™ is very focused on phonics and sounds (digrammes and trigrammes, specifically)! I chose to focus this course very specifically on using sounds to teach blending in French, since this is such an essential part of reading comprehension for language learners. Throughout this TeachAlong™, we will not be discussing any other subjects.

What happens if I need or want to cancel my enrollment in the TeachAlong™?

We understand that sometimes things come up, and you may find yourself unable to follow through with the TeachAlong™. You are welcome to email our team at andrea@maternelleavecmmeandrea.com if you need to cancel, but please be sure to read our refund policy below so that you know the window in which refunds may be granted and when they will no longer be granted.

What is your refund policy?

Through January 6, 2024, you may be granted a refund, if you request one, because the TeachAlong™ content will be locked and inaccessible through this date. However, no refunds will be granted on January 7, 2024 and onward due to the digital nature of the TeachAlong™ and the access to the materials provided within it.
