The Enseignons les mathématiques ensemble TeachAlong™ is a self-paced, self-guided online course for French primary teachers. While I used to run my TeachAlongs™ live, now I offer them from my TeachAlong™ Library, giving teachers like you the chance to purchase my courses at any time and work through them on your own schedule. So, keep in mind that there will be no live Q&A sessions, weekly email check-ins, or giveaways to guide you through after purchase.

I know that not every French primary grades teacher has to teach math in French, but if you do, it's incredibly challenging to find resources already created in French. Because of that, for this TeachAlong™, I have focused on getting you the most bang for your buck—I want you to be able to get the most planned/prepped with the least investment of time on your part, to make teaching math in French as easy as possible.

That's why, for this TeachAlong™, I've created a "Video Vault" with quick videos that explain the methods behind my madness and review each resource type. These videos will be available to watch anytime you like after you complete your purchase. You can come back and rewatch whenever you need!

Then, when you're ready, all you'll have to do is watch 1-2 quick overview videos and get your worksheet/interactive notebook copies done! Throughout the course, a few more resources will be available to accompany the whole-group math units.

BLOCK 1

In Block 1, you'll have access to all the videos in the Video Vault and the resources in the Block 1 Resource Vault. You'll have time to dig in and prep your first two whole-group math units.

BLOCK 4

I'll share a couple more resources with you that can be used as math centres, and you'll have two weeks to prep your remaining resources and whole-group math units.

BLOCK 2

In Block 2, you"ll take the first unit you've prepped and teach it! Unit 1 is 10 lessons long. I suggest the sorting unit, but you can switch it out for another if you prefer or need to for your curriculum!

BLOCK 5

In Block 5, you'll jump back into teaching—this time, your third unit. I suggest teaching the 3-D shapes unit next.

BLOCK 3

During these two weeks, you'll teach the second 2-week whole-group unit you've prepped. I suggest the 2-D shapes unit, but if you switched things up in Block 1, then you can rearrange accordingly here.

BLOCK 6

In this final block, we will teach our last included whole-group unit! I suggest Decomposing Numbers to 10 to finish off the course.

How will I get access to the content?

Because this TeachAlong™ is available for purchase at any time, whenever it works best for teachers' instructional schedules, immediate access to all content inside the portal is granted upon purchase. The posts inside the portal help break down the content into manageable chunks, and you can use the available documentation inside the portal to guide yourself through the content.

What if I already own a lot of your resources? Will it still be worth joining?

In a word, YES! My goal is to make sure that it will be worth it for anyone who wants to join. That's why there are engaging, rigorous math resources included with the TeachAlong™, as well as training videos explaining how and when I used these same lessons in my own classroom. While you may already own some of my math units, as they are in my TPT store, there is still value to be found in the professional development, course guide, checklists, and other included support materials.

The TeachAlong™ also contains weekly videos that explain exactly how I use the resources and are full of tips for your classroom!

What about reading/writing/health/other subjects?

This TeachAlong™ is very focused on kindergarten math! I chose to focus this course very specifically on implementing Math Workshop in the French primary classroom, since it's so challenging to find math resources in French. Throughout this TeachAlong™, we will not be discussing any other subjects, but be sure to visit the TeachAlong™ Library to browse my online courses on other topics and subjects.
